HISTORY

Historically Poggio Corese was inhabited by the ancient Romans who built the famous "Ponte del Diavolo", the most attractive archeological site in the country.

 

After the fall of the Roman Empire Poggio Corese was not inhabited until 1919 when the first houses were built.

 

The Republic itself was born on the 1st of January 2022.
